When it comes to the division of LED backlighting classification, it is important to first understand what LED backlighting means. LED backlighting refers to the use of LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) as the backlighting source for LCDs. Compared with the traditional CCFL (cold cathode tube) backlight, LED has low power consumption, low heat generation, high brightness, long life, etc.
Currently, this LED backlight classification can be divided into RGB-LED and white LED. the former utilizes the capability of dynamic zoning backlight technology and the excellent light source of tri-color RGB-LED, which provides a qualitative leap in color and contrast compared with traditional backlight. As a result, it is usually suitable for high quality TV products and generally costs more than 3W. The latter is a relatively common LED backlight source, also widely used in notebook computers and LCD monitors. White LED backlighting usually uses light ingested from the edge of the display, which is different from RGB-LED and traditional backlighting with direct backlighting.

3、ストレートダウンとサイドLEDバックライトの違い:LEDサイド光源は、ボディの両側から光を放射し、内蔵の-高透過率ライトガイドを介してパネルに光を投射します。 LCDの厚さを制限するのは蛍光灯の厚さです。 側面光源は両側の投影位置に配置されているため、テレビの厚みのスペースを占有しません。
